I heard that there’s a good Anki deck w/ 5k sentences here. Wouldn’t it be nice if there were simple, intuitive, pretty sentence diagrams (kind of like these) showing you the flow of sentences, how words, or rather bunsetsu, relate? Perhaps there could be a list of the MDDs, or mean dependency distances, also, giving an idea of the structural difficulty of the sentences.

By the way, isn’t that first TinyURL link for the deck (“here”) funny looking? With that random string? It’s kind of like Pastebin.com’s random strings! You know, http://pastebin.com/[random string here]. At TinyURL, though, you can customize your strings. Wouldn’t it be funny if someone customized it, but made it look random? Why would someone do that? You’d have a random-looking TinyURL, one that looks just like the kind you’d find at PasteBin, but it wouldn’t be random! So weird.
